The Accounting Faculty of the Haas School of Business and Center for Financial Reporting and Management are pleased to bring back this exciting annual conference. This year we will delve into the relationships between accounting and the technology industry.

The goal of this year's conference is to bring together senior level financial executives and industry regulators to discuss the challenges unique to the Bay area and how the use of technology is changing the way we do business.

Tech companies are always evolving. So are the accounting challenges they face. Issues related to the use of equity as incentive compensation, valuation, churn, revenue recognition, and acquisitions all present unique challenges and opportunities. This conference brings together accounting standard setters, regulators, corporate financial executives, professional accountants and academics to discuss current trends and issues.
